2001-06-10: Adrigole and Derrintaggart Stone Circle

Our goal for the day was to cover the Beara Peninsula and in the evening drive up as far north towards the Cliffs of Moher as possible. So, after breakfast and saying goodbye to the cats living at our B&B, we followed the coastal road out towards Dursey Head. After only a few minutes, we stopped at the small Adrigole Harbour.

A few miles further down the road in Castletownbere, we took a diversion to Derintaggart West, a small stone circle probably erected between 1500 and 500 B.C.
